Passive Comfort Lab

Passive comfort lab focused on concepts of building physics, heat transfer in building, passive design strategies, based on climate analysis and solar geometry. To practically understand these concepts, experimentation was done with a physical model while integrating design strategies. Building energy simulations were further carried out to analyze the impact of various strategies on energy consumption in building envelope, by using Software like Design-Builder, and Energy Plus to model an energy-efficient building.
