The mind and body through Architecture

Revolving around the ideas of the body and the memories associated with it, the engagement evolved into one which allowed for the inclusion of these ideas through design. The process that started off with the design of a secret place inside a pit progressed into the design of a home for my childhood self within the same pit and concluded with the design of a community place which emerged above the pit. The ideas of solitude, intimacy, congregation, inhabitation and context of spaces were explored through this design engagement with emphasis on the conversation between the body and its memory.
