Organizing Built Around The Network of Open Spaces

The design focuses on creating an interactive neighbourhood with a high frequency of open spaces in the outdoor and indoor realms. The lifestyle and design patterns are deliberations of the mythological culture of Gir-Somnath, Saurashtra that gives the flexibility of extensions in each habitat. In considering concerns of neighbourhood, the site is offering low rise apartments with a proportion of built and unbuilt areas. The organization is explored in a way that makes the site vehicular-free and more qualitative in nature.
