Humanizing Urban Space

The following project is base on the place making theories of Christian Noberg Schulz, Yahn Ghel and Amos Rapoport. To Humanize urban spaces, the production of qualitative aspects need to be derived from the social and cultural patterns of the community life and its integration with the urban space. The project aims to revive the lost of quality and character by creating qualitative negotiations between the inside and outside spaces (private, semi private, semi public, public) at a residential neighborhood scale.
