The 'Apna Chowk' project sits at the site which is the locus of the urban patch which was isolated by the shops around it and seems to be uninviting to the public. Also, the T-Junction seems to be very congested and has narrow roads which create chaos at peak hours of the day. The intervention needs to be to retain the structure of Natriya Mandap which seems to be in good condition and have potential to accommodate different program whereas in rest of the site can have programs such as market place and public gathering spaces
