PRESENTING THE UNREPRESENTABLE

A PLACE FOR COLLECTIVE COMMEMORATION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION IN INDUSTRIALIZATION:
Unrepresentable refers to the ‘life’ of forced labor in industrialization. The experience of the pain is not representable. The narrative developed "The call of the factory" is a powerful portrait of forced labor in industrialization. It highlights the experience of pain in an ambiguous concept. A little girl Mariam discovers such daunting obstacles of her father's torture with startling heroism.
The main idea of the project is about making people encounter the event and to continue a conversation about slavery and injustice in industrialization which is robbing of human body at work and also to generate spaces to experience depicting the value of human dignity. A place for collective commemoration and individual contemplation. A place seeking truth and justice.
