The project aimed to design a civic center for the municipal corporation in Ahmedabad, with a plugin program in terms of a local context. Playground adds freeform, playful structures to the Navrangpura bus stand, designed by Charles Correa in the 1960s, juxtaposing the new forms and the original building. The program intends to bring various stories of everyday life to a platform where they can be shared and experienced in various ways by visitors to the center. People can document these stories, gain inspiration from them, contribute to them or collaborate with other such storytellers in this space.Full portfolio
