This project is about adapting Sardar Patel Bhavan and converting it into Hotel Echelon- Business Center. Parasite approach is taken forward while extending it taking reference of existing old columns. Extended part is the reflection of Heritage character replicated through the openings of existing old building. New openings are comparatively higher than the older one in order to accentuate the volume for space requirement. Here the diagonal is taken in order to create a bold statement of reflection of old heritage (Mirroring the existing character by unfolding it) while creating sense of entry from afar.
