This studio aimed at design and developing building products for the interior built spaces. The emphasis of the studio was on advanced technology and based on the design process, upon, visualization, idealization, making of the real scale prototype, and technical drawing with required details. The interior spaces and functional requirements of the built spaces and activities within them became the reference and starting point for the studio. The product offered choice to the users in terms of different configurations, color schemes, finishes etc. with cost considerations. Students used product design considerations i.e. form making, functional criteria, usability, ergonomics, systems, visual language and technical and functional innovations to fulfil the particular need. This studio project used the advanced facilities of model making, prototype building and testing of the products.
