10 Minute Neighbourhood

The project deals with reimagining a neo urban area of Ahmedabad,  Prahladnagar, as a 10 minute neighbourhood, which currently has a specific distributed concentration of residential and commercial buildings. The core idea of the project is Transit Oriented Development (TOD) . Knowing that the area is a brownfield area, the proposal has a retrofitting approach. The proposal mainly deals with connecting the existing spaces more efficiently and hence it attempts to decrease the travel time, which increases the accessibility of the area.
