Aashray- A Dwelling for Migrants in Maan Darwaja, Surat focuses on creating housing that promotes live-work livelihood for the existing community living there. Looking at the current scenario there is need to focus on open, semi-open spaces in relation to built structures and accordingly design units as per the requirement of the people. This tries to break the concept of monotonous structure of housing and providing the space according to their need and modifying units and cluster in order to give them best living environment in the neighborhood.
