The 2nd Semester of Master’s in Urban Planning studio was to develop the Development Plan of  Rajkot in a span of 16 weeks. The city lies in the heart of Saurashtra region about 215km from Ahmedabad. With a spatial extent of 686 sq km and its backward and forward linkages, Rajkot becomes an important economic, social, industrial and institutional hub. In this portfolio, the aspects of regional connectivity and its potential towards development with a market driven liberal approach have been explored.
