Elements of Urban Design

The studio is structure as an introduction to urban design representation and how it is used as a means of design thinking. This portfolio is the completion of works during the studio over 4 months and started with analyzing urban design elements through Building Types, streets, open spaces, and Urban Blocks from an example of Indian context and abroad. Which have contributed to the scale, form, character, and their relationship with the larger urban context. The second part of the studio focuses on identifying an urban issue in the neighborhood and proposing an intervention. The studio concluded with a design proposal for a public place addressing loose edges and inaccessibility issues and proposed conceptual strategies to improve it.
