THE CITY PAVILION

The City Pavilion is a type of pavilion that relates with the city of Ahmedabad having two buildings connected through a bridge above a step well. The structural system truss used gave an aesthetic view as well as helped to stabilize the structure and also reflected upon Tadao Ando's principle. Looking forward structurally the entire structure was well designed and appropriate sizes of the structural elements were given to further make the structure more rational. Both the buildings have different architectural structures where the last building cantilevers towards the river and exits on the contours. WALK THROUGH AND ADDITIONAL WORK
