The project aims to reminisce Razia Sultan who battled with the world to become the first female ruler of India. It attempts to provide an insight of the position of women in the sultanate era. The memorial is divided into two phases, one where Razia faced custom, political and gender opposition and the other where she lays a new land for the people. With the use of walls, vegetation, water and material, the project aims to spatially engage recreate these two phases of Razia's life.
