A project aims to understand services offered by Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS). AMTS commenced its operation in the year 1947, runs under the aegis of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). Presently AMTS has 850 buses serving 6 lakh passengers per day. 
Service and operations of AMTS was studied through various tools like Process mapping, Process profile worksheet, SIPOC analysis and ServQual. 
These maps were generated post collecting data/information through observation, Interviews, Questioner based surveys and stake holder analysis. These mechanism helped in finding gaps in services and then recommending measures for improvement of services of AMTS.
