Sarkhej Roza, also called, ‘Acropolis of Ahmedabad’ is a cluster of seven centrally protected monuments by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The complex attracts large crowds of devotees as well as tourists owing to its religious, historical, and archaeological significance. The scope of this studio was to analyze the facilities present on the premise and to find areas of improvement through which experience of all stakeholders could be enhanced. Methodology adopted for this work included stakeholder consultation, gap analysis, benchmarks study and finally devising viable solutions that address the gaps as well as impact livelihood of communities around the monument.
