The Studio Geotechnical Parameters: Influencing Foundation Systems examines soil properties and how they influence foundation system design. The studio started by creating mind maps to help us understand various geotechnical ideas. Then, on campus, we got hands-on experience with soil inquiry by conducting field investigations and laboratory tests. The field of soil enhancement was investigated by comparing the outcomes of experiments performed on soil samples with and without additives. Finally, the learned soil qualities and behaviour were applied to the design of foundation systems for a specified issue statement.
