A Cloistered Cove | CEPT

An artists' residency, homestay and gallery in Leh, this project takes inspiration from the vernacular as well as its immediate context. With a form that attempts to both respect the contours and maximize solar radiation, the home transformed into one that celebrates nature and community.
Built around cloisters and courtyards, this project aims to create a comfortable and sustainable cove with climate as its priority.
