Stepped Oasis- A climate responsive home in Jodhpur

During the Semester, we were given exercises like Case studies, Retrofitting existing buildings, designing unicellular blocks etc to familiarize ourselves with all the challenges faced while dealing with climate. For the final exercise, students were required to design a residence cum studio for a painter with a family of 3.The building must also include two studios and a 3 bedroom homestay. The building has to respond to the climate of Jodhpur and ensure comfortable living.
