Concord | Connecting communities and habitats

This Project encompasses the idea of creating a transition zone between the Sadar Bazaar Community adjacent to the Cantonment area to the river Sabarmati. Taking into consideration the current Riverfront development, the community faces a certain disconnect to the river edge. This also includes the removal of existing dense vegetation which will directly affect the faunal habitats. The division of the site and its adjacencies was done in order to reconnect them through porous points for the community (faunal and human). Further, with time, this transition will help the community to indulge themselves in recreational, social, and religious activities.
