The positioned Calico Mills site along the riverfront edge with various heritage structures and close knit settlement around has the potential to bring all communities together aiming at Reviving, Reconnecting and Redefining culturally diverse community traditions.The project aims to bring all group in the community together to socialize, improve community well being and also connect to the mills land and other heritage structures which currently are in a lot neglected state with dumping of garbage and open defecation as major issues. The project deals in transforming these open spaces and maidan surrounded by important heritage structures into an interactive and engaging public realm, hence allowing the continuation of inheritance and growth of communities.
