Being a prelude to the walled city, the site has been envisioned as a cultural hub. It becomes an anchor point - inviting people of all walks of life and directing them, enlighting them about the cultural richness. Being the shortest route from the metro to the riverfront, this place is bound to have high footfall. Turning the barren, neglected site to a vivacious ground would be the greatest challenge. The site; being so sensitive on all aspects; has to be dealt with gently, taking into account the people being catered to mainly.
