Old High court metro station at the western stretch of East-West metro corridor, is located at the intersection of that corridor and the North-South one, which indicates that it will have people from all directions of the city. The area around the metro station is mostly commercial with a few institutional and residential buildings and it lies at the border between the old city and the new one. The aim of the project is to improve walkability of the roads connecting the metro station and the important buildings of this area and enhance pedestrian experience.
