MUMBAI FLOODS - An erasure of manmade blot on nature.

The memorial is a reminder of nature's wrath that Mumbai witnessed on 26th July 2005.The larger idea of the memorial is to remind humans of the chaos they caused and how, and the perpetual need for coexistence between Nature and Man, and to acknowledge the nature of nature.
The journey of the memorial is curated as an antithesis. The memorial sets itself within a dense urban fabric. It showcases the duality of nature through phases that descend, submerge and emerge, each  informing, involving and inspiring respectively. Water has been used in numerous forms to express the duality through spatial experiences.
