In Current system of Governance, apart from the periodic act of voting, the only recourse for engagement by the citizenry with the process of Governance is the reading of bills. The distancing of government officials from public and lack of awareness among citizens restricts effective participation of society in the decision making process. The project aims to create alternative proposal for the Legislative Assembly building that addresses local and global level problems. The building is intervened to bridge the present distancing of governance from people also encouraging participation of Citizenry in the process of Governance.
