Clay Create Co-Working Studio

The studio is a co-working space designed for ceramists, potters, interior designers and architects who extensively experiment with clay as a material.
The process of visualisation started with experimenting with clay by moulding it on different surfaces to analyse the impression, here clay acted in multiple layers to create a spatial experience. With the concept of layering, an intuitive process was followed to create a structure of overlapping and staggering curved planes with multiple surfaces. This structure was then iterated and altered as per the function to create zones of different activities.
The site is conceptualised as a moulding material that can be sculpted, therefore the site is divided into zones according to the type of work, e.g., focused, group, collaborative and break out.
