PROCUREMENT MODEL

For the procurement phasing, the assumption is kept as 0.3 rides per cycle per day for the first year and the aim is to improve the ridership by 200% at the end of five years. The model is a 5 + 2-year contract given to the service provider to procure the necessary inventory for the smooth operations of the system. Our model aims to address the roadblocks for PPP projects specific to PBS. It was developed to aid decision-makers and service providers involved to change the course of PBS in India.
