Public Bike Sharing in Ahmedabad

The SOM studio was focused on understanding, analyzing, and suggesting improvements in service quality and increasing demand of existing Ahmadabad's PBS system. A detailed hybrid model of financing and operating PBS systems has been envisaged to upscale and regulate the existing permit-based PBS system. Broadly, contracts, procurement, Building Process Re-engineering, marketing, finance, and an Extensive survey analysis have been covered throughout the studio. This portfolio has extensively chalked out re-engineered processes for various stakeholders. Through business process re-engineering, the existing processes were analyzed through various management tools and survey analysis to improve overall service quality and optimize resources , hence increasing ridership for the entire system which is the objective of the project.
