Narratives of vehicular influx in a Himalayan village

The DRP investigates about the factors responsible for the increasing urbanisation in a Himalayan village. Briefly discussing about the influx of vehicular movement inside the village, hence analysing the existing condition of villages. It is based on an integrated methodological approach using methods of urban theories, field mapping and local site survey to develop maps and collect data for further information on the topic. The research limits itself to understanding the existing system of the influx of vehicular movement and parking activities in the hima- layan villages. It makes an attempt to study the vehicular influx with the growing urbanisation by collecting data regarding the population and area growth over the years.
