Urban Node in Periphery - TP Scheme in Shilaj Bhadaj

A case of greenfield development of the urban fringe of Ahmedabad: Shilaj-Bhadaj, located on the Western periphery of the city was delineated as the study area for the proposal of planning scheme. Existing situation analysis further helped to carve out the possible potential development of the delineated boundary. Town planning scheme mechanism is a comprehensive and equitable process of land reconstitution. Through this mechanism, one can carve out the proposals envisioned through Development Plan. The whole process has been shortened into a narrative to give an idea of various aspects that go into making fair and equitable TP Scheme.
