Sculpted

Located right in the core of the city, Vishwamitri has had its course of death and rejuvenation. With our ‘landing’ on the river, we conjectured how it's a neglected part of this urban settlement.  Further on through a study in this ‘fragile valley‘ in the next module, multiple natural lifecycles occurring along the river’s edge were analyzed. The aim was to understand how environment habitats people. The proposed programs are motivated by these unprecedented development and enormous stress that rapid unplanned urbanization has caused on natural ecosystems.By ‘sculpting’ carefully on the river edge, the proposals seek to ‘ Enhance and treat the natural drains along the river Vishwamitri while maintaining the river's continuum. This would enhance the water flow quantity and quality.
