Make Space for Women

Access to private vehicles diminishes as one goes from higher income groups to lower income groups, and in India, ownership of private vehicles largely lies with men. As a result of this, women, in general are forced to fend for themselves on foot. This restriction significantly reduces the radii of opportunity for women. This Project recognizes this and intends on creating women- centric gendered space on an ungendered street edge while making the street a safe space for women.
