Isanpur - A self sufficient neighborhood

Ward number 61 , Isanpur is one of the urban fringe located in the east part of Ahmedabad. It is the largest ward of the southern zone of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The ward houses a population of 113, 949 (2001 Census) within an area of 395 sq krn. The ward, which is situated in Ahmedabad's southeast, was formerly a tiny village but began to grow as a result of a large inflow of migrants from Gujarat and other regions of India, drawn by the ward's low land prices given Ahmedabad's industrialization. Isanpur was a historic community with lush pastures. The realm has emerged as a result of quick industrialisation and job creation, drawing immigrants to the region. The precinct's connectedness flourished as a result of the precinct's unification under AMC jurisdiction and the creation of GIDC, which led to the initialization of AMTS inside the fabric.
