Isanpur gam

Ahmedabad being the industrial hub since the beginning, introducing the three GIDCs, the Vatva, Odhav, and Naroda in 1968 on the eastern outskirts of Ahmedabad has changed the development growth of its Surrounding area. One such area Isanpur gam, being close to Vatva-Narol GIDC has changed its character from being a separated village to a significant housing catering area for migrants. A substantial part of the precinct is residential dwellings and Isanpur gamtal, the rest of the area is occupied by industries of Narol GIDC. The precinct has various types of built forms, from gated residential housing to Isanpur village row houses, from large-scale industry to informal settlements. The street network for each built typology has different characters and specifications.
