The portfolio is a study of 1Sq.km precinct in Ahmedabad city, comprising the Kochrab and Paldi areas, west of the Sabarmati River. Kochrabgaam and Paldigaam are two urban villages sustaining peacefully between the Sabarmati Riverfront and a rapidly developing city of Ahmedabad, in conditions contrasting with the surrounding neighbourhood.  The study depicts their exclusive physical characteristics and the role development regulations play in the evolution of this precinct, further discussing their stagnated development through factors such as Property prices, consumed FSI and Built form.
