Lakshminagar: A Burgeoning Urban Fringe

The past two decades have witnessed the city of Ahmedabad's fast growth and peripheral expansion. This trend of urbanization has resulted in the transformation and evolution of many new neighborhood’s. Lakshminagar an area between Vastral and Ramol, a residential neighborhood located on the eastern outskirts of Ahmedabad, is one of them. In order to comprehend the characteristics and history of this fledgling neighborhood, a one-kilometer-square section of Vastral has been examined for research purposes. In addition to interviews, pictures, and videos, the primary investigation of a precinct include a comprehensive grasp of satellite images and GIS mapping.
