Understanding the City - Nava Vadaj

The portfolio is a comprehensive analysis of a one-square-kilometer precinct, Nava Vadaj, a predominant residential neighborhood in Ahmedabad's western suburbs. The report is a study of the area done as a part of understanding the city studio in the masters program at CEPT University. The report focuses on analyzing the study area in terms of its history, land development, built form and street network, public infrastructure, public realm, jobs, transport and livelihood choices and also aims at understanding the urban parameters of urbanization in the study area.
