Bopal, a recently developed peri urban development is located on the western periphery of the city of Ahmedabad. The area of Bopal was initially a part of the Suburbs of Ahmedabad but later in 2015 it became a part of AMC. During the early 1980s, Bopal was predominantly an agricultural land owned by the Thakurs and presently after undergoing multiple transformations, it is known to be an upcoming residential zone. Thereby project focuses on deciphering the precinct of SOBO Centre, Bopal by trying to understand the different layers of urban fabric that make up a city.
