The precinct had seen a drastic change from 2002 to 2022 and the determinants which brought about specific changes. In this evolution the pattern of shift was from the east towards the west. Most of the streets in Ramdev Nagar have bungalows and private houses along them. But with the increase in population and demand for housing, a notable number of residential towers have started to come up in the last five years. There is a notable difference between the amount of built forms on the left and right halves of the precinct.

A key cause of concern in the relation between the roads and the built forms in Ramdev Nagar is the position of the private residences along the sub-arterial roads. The exit and entry points to the residences are on the sub-arterial roads which give rise to several points where the traffic might have to slow down to avoid clashes with the private vehicles going in and out of the residentials plots. Another major issue is the encroachment of footpaths as parking spaces which causes hindrance to the users of the pedestrian walks. People have to get down at frequent intervals due to the parked vehicles which makes them vulnerable to unforeseen accidents from speeding cars.
