Expansion and development of Gota started after the introduction of the Town Planning scheme. Gota, located along the SG highway, has emerged as one of the fastest-growing real estate markets. The middle-income group prefers this destination due to the available budget-friendly location over Thaltej and Prahladnagar. Though Gota is located on the outskirts, preference for educational facilities, social amenities, and infrastructure is traded off for work trips.
