The primary goal of the research project is to collect real-time data from Rajkot's streets. A moving vehicle equipped with an air quality monitoring device was used to collect the data. Real-time data on air pollution gives a street view of the city and it informs the people about the quality of the air they breathe. The collected real time data is useful to know the status of air quality in different zones of city such as sensitive zone, commercial zone, residential zone, industrial zone, and mixed zone. Hotspot identification and real-time data analysis is helpful and will also empower the city authorities with actionable insights and can take remedial measures. From the study, it can be concluded that there is a direct corelation between road conditions, and the PM concentrations. It was also observed that the construction activities cause a significant impact on the PM concentration levels. Vehicular activity plays a role in the PM concentration increase, but does not contribute to PM pollution via vehicular emissions. The FPM concentrations in the city are predominantly constant, but RSPM values fluctuate a lot, and are a concern.
