PASSIVE COMFORT LAB

Building physics, heat transport in buildings, and passive design principles based on climate analysis and solar geometry were the main topics of the Passive Comfort Lab. Experimentation was conducted with a physical model while incorporating design strategies to comprehend these concepts practically. Utilising software such as Design-Builder and Energy Plus to simulate an energy-efficient building, building energy simulations were further performed to examine the influence of different techniques on energy consumption in the building envelope.
