PASSIVE COMFORT LAB|MONSOON SEMESTER 2022

The studio course Passive Comfort Lab provides both academic and practical knowledge on the fundamentals of thermal comfort, building physics, and climate analysis. The course began with learning the specifics of climatic analysis and about various building physics concepts while also applying those theories and conducting experiments on a 1 m.cu. scale model, as well as answering questions and gaining practical knowledge. The second half of the course concentrated on software-based learning and application of all the fundamentals of building physics in the software design builder, as well as getting a thorough understanding of how the software functions. It also revised and strengthened the ideas of heat transfer and other theories
