Urban Transport Infrastructure Design

To develop urban transport infrastructure for an Indian city (Surat), focus on analyzing existing situation and developing design solutions.
Topics focused on:-
1. Public transport accessibility level - did for surat public transport system which included BRTS , city bus , IPT( rickshaw) . Scenarios for 2016 and 2021 where generated and compared with the PTAL map of Ahmedabad.

2. Hot spot design - Shahara darwaja to mann darwaja stretch was selected as hot spot where lot of problems identified. Being a textile market area , the stretch was designed keeping in mind the land use,
Parking , street furniture , signages , junctions.
