This portfolio is a compilation of work done as part of Architectural conservation studio (CR4000). This studio is aimed to understand the process for developing a conservation proposal for a historic structure which can be broadly divided into – Documentation and Understanding the place, Research Analysis and Value assessment, Condition assessment and Issue identification, Conservation approach and Detailed design. The structure chosen for this project is a 300yr(approx.) old residential building in the village of Bela Kutch Gujarat .The detailed process of this project has been collated in the form of a ‘Studio Process Booklet’.
