This portfolio is a compilation of work done as part of Architectural conservation studio (CR4000). This studio is aimed to understand the process for developing a conservation proposal for a historic structure which can be broadly divided into – Documentation and Understanding the place, Research Analysis and Value assessment, Condition assessment and Issue identification, Conservation approach and Detailed design. The structure chosen for this project is an old residential building in the village of Bela Kutch Gujarat that is abandoned and in a state of ruin.
