Marine Ecology Field Station, Diu: Didi Contractor

The Marine Ecology Field Station in Diu reflects the attitudes of Didi Contractor that have been analysed in the architectural language.
Being a place for research of marine ecology, the key idea was to build a natural habitat for the marine organisms. Thus a marine biological garden in the centre acts as a datum around which various programmatic functional spaces are arranged.
An episodic and narrative journey has been curated along the path around the marine biological garden allowing users to capture breathtaking vistas of the sea as well as engage with the spaces in and around the garden.
