Mirzapur is known for its Automobile market the residential sector remains the biggest stakeholder in the area, with hardly any space to expand into also, the presence of several educational Institutes points to the presence of the young population. The lack of access to open spaces is problematic because it restricts the communication between the young population which is further instigated by the communal divide present in the area. The vertical dimension of the sporting center could potentially compensate for a lack of sports fields and play areas in the congested area of Mirzapur. The goal of the intervention would be to create new shared spaces, nurturing values such as fair play and tolerance; the youth in the area can measure one another in a sportive competition rather than on a communal level.
