The journey started with the various readings, watching movies, writing haiku and creating designs out of it, the most interesting part was the freedom to design whatever comes to your mind. The studio process allows the student to design from their impression and imagination, leaving all the baggage design norms behind. The final outcome of the studio works on the more grounded work by giving the students freedom to look at the site through a different lens, not in an analytical manner but how a person will feel when he or she will first arrive at the site. By taking all this into consideration the final design revolves around all the experiential qualities I observe while on the site, some of the qualities which I took into consideration and designed the final design were ‘Light and shadow’ and ‘sound’.
